Peer Review Policy
Peer Review Process
To ensure the reliability and scientific credibility of the information presented on EngPedia, we employ a strict rigorous editorial peer-review process.
How It Works
- Submission: Technical drafts are written by qualified contributors holding advanced degrees (MSc/PhD) or professional licenses (PE/CEng).
- Anonymization: The author identity is removed from the draft to ensure unbiased review.
- Independent Review: The draft is sent to at least two independent reviewers with specific expertise in the article subject.
- Evaluation Criteria: Reviewers assess the draft based on mathematical correctness, reference clarity, safety factor validity, and compliance with modern standards.
- Resolution: The article is either accepted, returned for revision, or rejected. Accepted articles receive a “Editorially Reviewed Reference” status.
